Jay Brain is a smart, reliable, very fast and small audio player with neuronal design.

Jay Brain contains "cells" and "tissues" that extend the functionality of the "brain" and was developed in VB6.

Jay Brain has a skinnable GUI, pluggable formats, lyrics support, playlist editor, cmdline interface.

The input formats for the audio system are also pluggable. Program supports:
MP3, MP2, MP1, OGG, WAV, AIF, MO3, XM, MOD, S3M, IT, MTM, UMX, CDA, AAC, M4A, MP4, AC3, APE, MAC, MIDI, MID, RMI, KAR, MPC, MP+, MPP, OFR, OFS, SPX, TTA, WMA, WV.

The application has a playlist editor that is easy to use. Iit auto-saves changes made to it. Also, you have the great possibility of displaying a song's lyrics automatically without searching for it on the internet. You can even edit the lyrics and save them on a webserver for future usability.

The player can associate file extensions in order to open them when you double click an audio file in the shell. It's all fast, simple and easy to use.
